JATC Tour

May 23rd, 2022

We thought it would be fun to give you a glimpse into the facility where our Local 103 Technicians receive their training. The JATC Training Center, brought to the Greater Boston area by IBEW Local 103 and NECA Boston, couples amazing instructors with incredible hands-on practical learning stations to produce some of the most impressive technicians you can find!

LAN-TEL’s own President and CEO Joe Bodio was the instructor for the “Blueprints for Telecom” course in the 1990’s. You can read more about that and Joe’s involvement in the JATC over the years here.

Throughout their 5-year program, apprentices will complete over 1,000 hours of classroom learning as well as 10,000 hours of on-the-job training.  They graduate the program as fully certified technicians with not only the skill of their trade but the jobsite experience they have gained throughout their years of learning.

LAN-TEL is so proud of the caliber of apprentices we bring into the field, not only because of their training but because of their work ethic, dedication to customers and communities we service and their commitment to their trade.

We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the JATC. You can read more about LAN-TEL President Joe Bodio’s relationship with the JATC
