2014 Secured Cities Conference

On November 5th, LAN-TEL’s John Bartolomucci and Eric Johnson joined Shawn Romanoski of the Boston Police Dept. and Mike Driscoll of DVTEL at the 2014 Secured Cities conference where the group presented a case study on the security initiatives taking place in Boston and gave insight into Boston’s Critical Infrastructure Monitoring Program (CIMS).

The 2014 Secured Cities conference took place on November 4th-6th in Baltimore, Maryland and drew in thousands of industry professionals and decision makers. The conference featured presentations from keynote speakers and security experts on industry best-practices and the latest developments in cutting-edge technology.

The annual conference, which is sponsored through the Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) and the State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP), is dedicated to relating law enforcement, emergency operations, and municipal government to the latest developments in communications and surveillance technologies in an effort to enhance the effectiveness of emergency procedures and to help create a safer environment in as many cities and towns as possible.
