Will Benefit Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program

November 9th, 2017 -Norwood, MA – LAN-TEL Communications, Inc., the industry leader in structured cabling systems, integrated security solutions and IT infrastructure services, announced today its staff will “brave the beard” in support of Veterans and their families this November.  The company has joined the 54 police departments in Massachusetts who are currently participating in this campaign.

“We work with a number of police departments in Greater Boston and throughout Massachusetts and this was a natural fit for our security division and our company,” said Joe Bodio, CEO of LAN-TEL Communications. “We are always looking for ways to assist those in our communities in need and there is no greater group than our Veterans.”

The Home Base First Responder No-Shave November Campaign is a month-long journey to support Veterans.  Throughout the month of November, LAN-TEL’s corporate staff and field technicians will grow beards and goatees in exchange for LAN-TEL’s donation to Home Base, a partnership of the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital.  Home Base helps service members, veterans and their families heal from invisible wounds including traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder.
