Job Title: Security Services Sales Engineer

LAN-TEL Communications launched its Security Division in 2005 and since that time has successively grown the business year over year. LAN-TEL’s Security Division specializes in the design, installation and ongoing service of the latest in access control and video surveillance systems for business customers in both the private and public sector.

The Security Services Sales Engineer will play an integral part in the continued growth of the Security Division and will report to the Director.

Key Responsibilities of the Position Include

• Support sales team in closing new deals and ongoing account management
• Review and respond to Requests for Proposals
• Develop design drawings and work packages for field
• Assist field in troubleshooting technical problems and resolving customer issues
• Stay current on latest technology and assist Director of Security Services in evaluating new technology
• Work with vendors to ensure the lowest prices and timely delivery of products

Key Requirements of the Position Include:

• Minimum of 5 year’s experience in the security industry
• Working and in-depth knowledge of the security industry and the latest in access control and video surveillance technology
• Adeptness at interfacing with customers during the sales cycle and to address ongoing service and maintenance issues
• Proficient in all Microsoft software and CAD
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical expertise to field staff
• Proficiency in producing engineering designs and close out documentation
